MicroStrategy environment

• A Windows Operating System is required for the MicroStrategy Intelligence Server API samples.
• Before you attempt to run MicroStrategy SDK you need to have a MicroStrategy Analytics Enterprise project running in an Intelligence Server-connected (three-tier) environment.
• MicroStrategy Web or Web Universal should also be installed in addition to MicroStrategy SDK to do custom application work on Web or Web APIs.

Compatibility and interoperability

MicroStrategy SDK should only be connected to a MicroStrategy Intelligence Server or later for production purposes. However, MicroStrategy Intelligence Server is interoperable with MicroStrategy SDK 9.0.2, 9.2.0, 9.2.1, and 9.2.1m.
