Software
The table below lists the required set of software for MicroStrategy Web client machines.
MicroStrategy environment
Before you attempt to run MicroStrategy Web Universal you need to set up your MicroStrategy environment. This includes:
- Web server configured and running.
- Web client browser installed and running.
- MicroStrategy project running in an Intelligence Server-connected (three-tier) environment.
Compatibility and interoperability
MicroStrategy Web Universal
should only be connected to a MicroStrategy Intelligence Server
or later for production purposes. However, MicroStrategy Intelligence Server
is interoperable with MicroStrategy Web Universal 9.0.2, 9.2.0, 9.2.1, 9.2.1m, 9.3.0, 9.3.1, and 9.4.
Customers migrating their environments to MicroStrategy Analytics Enterprise must upgrade both MicroStrategy Web Universal and MicroStrategy Intelligence Server to ensure the successful execution of Report Services documents in Flash Mode. For the complete MicroStrategy Platform Compatibility and Interoperability specification, see the Compatibility and Interoperability page of the MicroStrategy General Information Readme.
